WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST
My passion for nature started early when I was exploring riparian woodland behind my childhood home in the Bay Area. From there I pursued a career to protect and serve our environment and be a champion of conservation. To achieve this, I became a wildlife biologist and gained extensive experience conducting protocol-level surveys and monitoring for a wide range of Federally and State Threatened/Endangered species. For Burleson, I lead and support a variety of wildlife and natural resource surveying and monitoring efforts throughout California to ensure environmental compliance and protection during construction and maintenance projects. I have developed an extensive professional skillset which I apply to find the best solution to complex natural resource issues. My ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules, strong communication skills, and pragmatic professional approach ensures permit compliance, resource protection and project progression.
In addition to wildlife biology, my diversified environmental background includes developing & leading environmental awareness training, wetland/vegetation mapping, hydrology monitoring, water quality monitoring, habitat restoration, special-status vegetation surveys and monitoring, GIS and GPS certification, developing/maintaining positive client relations and assisting in project oversight, management, logistics and reporting.
