BIOLOGIST
My passion for the natural world and desire to ensure that future generations can experience the outdoors drive the work I do at Burleson every day. I am a biologist with an emphasis in habitat restoration and monitoring. My professional experience includes conducting vegetation and hydrologic surveys, rare plant mapping, GIS mapping and analysis, invasive species removal, seed collection, planting, and erosion control. I hold a California Department of Pesticide Regulation Qualified Applicator’s License (#146361) and have experience in applying herbicide in areas supporting sensitive species such as Monterey spineflower (Chorizanthe pungens var. pungens) and Smith’s blue butterfly (Euphilotes enoptes smithi). I value organization, efficiency, and completing any task at hand to the highest quality.
