Environmental Services
Foster Farms

Burleson has worked with Foster Farms for more than three years in both California and Washington. In 2006, Foster Farms entered into
a Master Services Agreement with Burleson to provide on-call environmental services.
Burleson completed environmental training programs, in English and Spanish, and provided environmental awareness training and Hazwoper 40-hour comprehensive and 8-hour refresher training. For Foster Farm's Burson Ranch facility, Burleson completed a wetland delineation and biological assessment. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) verified the assessment in 2007. Burleson also worked with the San Joaquin Multi-Species Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) representatives and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to determine impacts and compensation for the expansion of a turkey facility. Burleson expects to continue to provide support for completion
of routine environmental compliance. Foster Farms is expanding its ranching and will need continued environmental support. Burleson will continue to complete wetland delineations and biological and cultural resource surveys, coordinate with local HCP representatives, consult with USACE and USFWS, and conduct compliance training at California facilities.
