Environmental Services
Campbell Soup Supply Company
Sacramento, California
Burleson completed projects for Campbell Soup Supply Company at their Sacramento, Stockton, and Dixon food processing facilities. Burleson conducted an investigation of of soil and groundwater contamination from a former aboveground fuel oil storage tank at the Sacramento facility. Burleson was contracted to determine whether any oil constituents from the tank had migrated to unsaturated soil or groundwater beneath the tank's footprint. Burleson was also contracted to oversee a field investigation to advance soil borings in a grid pattern to visually determine the extent of petroleum contamination and to oversee excavation of petroleum-impacted areas that were discovered.
Burleson completed a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan (SPCC) for Campbell's Sacramento Facility. This plan met all Federal, State and local regulations for the twenty oil storage areas at the facility. Burleson verified secondary containment and tank integrity, recommended spill prevention measures, and spill cleanup and reporting procedures.

Burleson completed Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for Campbell's Stockton and Dixon Facilities. The plans met all State and Federal regulations. The plans addressed stormwater flow throughout the plants, possible pollution sources, and associated best management practices (BMP). The plans included inspection forms and sampling procedures for annual stormwater compliance.
