I love the outdoors! I have always enjoyed hiking, camping, snow skiing, boating, swimming, scuba diving – you name it. I even tried sky diving but decided I like to be on the earth! So naturally early on I was drawn to a career in environmental engineering. But before that was even invented, I studied chemistry and found that very interesting. So my career started out working with analytical data and transitioned into engineering to solve complex problems and manage projects. I even worked in the agricultural industry and learned about those challenges. These days, my focus is on NEPA and CEQA projects and each one brings a unique set of issues, which I find enjoyable to tackle.
