Burleson Staff Earn Qualified SWPPP Developer & Qualified SWPPP Practitioner Credentials … In California, construction activity that disturbs an acre or more of land or less than an acre but part of a larger common development plan requires coverage under the California Construction Activities Storm Water General Permit Order 2009-0009-DWQ (CGP). The stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) that is prepared and implemented must be sufficient for effective pollution prevention. Section VII of the CGP requires that the SWPPP developers and practitioners complete training that the State Water Resources Control Board sponsors or approves.
